Celebrate Community and Play: The Grand Re-Opening of William Kilgore Playground at Nettles Park
The community is cordially invited to join the City of Clemson in celebrating the grand re-opening of the William Kilgore Playground at Nettles Park (102 Nettles Park Rd.) on April 24th, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. This much-anticipated event marks the culmination of extensive renovations to create a more inclusive, safe, and fun environment for children of all ages and abilities. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 3:30 pm.
The William Kilgore Playground has been a treasured asset of Nettles Park, fostering countless memories and moments of joy. Join the City of Clemson on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, from 12 pm-2 pm at Dawson Park (894 Old Stone Church Rd. Clemson, SC 29631), for the Community and Police Field Day in conjunction with the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Dawson Park Shelter and Restroom Facility. The official ribbon cutting is scheduled for 1 pm and will symbolize the dedication of this new facility to the public.
Attendees can look forward to yard games, exploring community organization booths, food, and gathering at the newly constructed picnic shelter.
